We're excited to launch our GCSE Citizenship Studies (AQA) course for students aged 14–16 who want to understand how society works, how decisions are made, and how they can make a difference in the world around them.
This course follows the AQA GCSE Citizenship Studies specification and is taught through engaging, discussion-based live lessons that encourage students to think critically, debate current issues, and develop real-world skills.

Duration: September 2026 – May 2027
Format: Weekly live online lessons (day and time to be confirmed)

A unique feature of GCSE Citizenship is the Active Citizenship Investigation.
Throughout the course, students will choose an issue they care about and work on a real-world citizenship project. This may involve:
Researching a local or national issue
Creating an awareness campaign
Running a petition
Contacting decision-makers
Organising community action
Advocating for change
Students will receive guidance and support from tutors throughout the process.
While there is no traditional coursework submission, students are required to complete this investigation as part of the GCSE course and will be assessed on their understanding of the process in the final examination.
